Manado Trip

This is a late post, but I feel that I have to post this. Because not everytime you can get a chance to visit this part of Sulawesi. We go there for 4 days only, but I think it was enough to explored the iconic tourism spots in South Sulawesi.

Day 1 we go directly to the Bunaken Island. After arrived at the airport, checked-in to hotel, then we continued to Bunaken Island by boat. We had a chance to diving and had some snacks by the beach. In the afternoo, we go back to Manado and have some night city tour. On the next day we visited the statue of "God Bless Manado", the iconic statue in Manado. Also we went to Tomohon market, where they provided some extreme cullinary. I wasn't interesting to see them, so I didn't go inside the market, it will be too scary for me. And then we went to Linouw Lake, a beautiful lake surrounding by the hills, with a cold weather. The speciality about this lake is the color of the waterlake can be changing, between yellow, green and blue. We also visited Bukit Kasih. That second day in Manado closed by drinking a cup of coffee at Rumah Kopi Gembira and had dinner by Malalayang beach.

After two days in Manado, we finally got use to the seafood as our daily meals. Seafood is a popular and common cullinary here. Most of the time our meals were seafood, but we also not forget tried the speciality of Manado which is nasi kuning, manado porridge and the famous klappertart. Besides cullinary, we also visit Taman Margasatwa Tandurusa on our third day. Located on the edge of the Lembeh Strait, Bitung, they have some rare animals such as Tarsius, the smallest primata in the world. They also have some big snakes and giant phytons. From Tandurusa we went to Tasik Ria Beach, we had a chance to enjoy the beautiful sunset by the beach. Well, Manado is just such a memorable city, and maybe we should come back someday.
